How to be Agile in a context not related to IT

For three sessions now, Mathieu Boisvert has been teaching Agile methods at the Chaire de gestion de projet of the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). Invariably, students ask him how to adopt this type of approach.

Although he is a software development expert, Mathieu gives a few examples so him and the participants can reflect together on the prerequisites, benefits, and difficulties related to the adoption of Agile approaches regardless of the business field.

Here are a few examples:

• Writing a quotation
• Preparing material for change management
• Building a car
• Developing training material
• Constructing a building.

At the end of the presentation, participants will have an idea on how to adapt Agile approaches to any context.
