Webinar: “Beyond velocity: measuring with Agility”
Velocity is a metric greatly used by Agile teams. When well understood and used, velocity is a great estimation and planning tool. However, given our experience with more traditional project performance metrics, velocity is sometimes poorly understood or used and can even slow down teams instead of boosting them.
What you will learn:
- velocity: its nature, use, benefits, pitfalls to avoid, and tips that will help us increase it
- flow measures to improve the knowledge of our real performance and increase it
- business value measures: how to measure the value of the teams’ achievements, how to check our assumptions regarding business value, how to avoid the pitfall of “vanity measure”—which tells us what we want to hear instead of what we should hear.
